Job Description

Efficient Energy Consultants are looking for experienced sales representatives to help develop and establish our company’s presence in the Weber and Davis county markets. Our target customers are owners of residential and commercial property that earn at least 40k annually with a good credit score or substantial capital. Renewable energy is the future of utilities and some of the required skills and experience that we look for in our sales representatives is:

• Basic understanding of solar and the conditions which affect the product in the state of Utah.
• Experience in sales and or marketing through multiple channels (e.g. Direct Marketing, Inside Sales, B2B)
• Proven track record of progress and or success with former sales or marketing roles, with at least 2 years of experience.
• High attention to detail with the communications that will be delivered and received to and from customers (e.g. active Listening, body language, personality profiling)
• Strong desire to grow professionally and have willingness to commit to becoming a true professional of the solar and sales industry.
• Must be able to set goals and work independently to achieve said goals or with little or no supervision.
• Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Must have clean record (e.g. pass background check and drug screen)
Responsibilities
The sales representative role will include but not be limited to the following:

• Attend daily sales training for goal setting/review.
• Log and keep track of working hours, objections that were not overcome, and any information which would be expedient in developing our approach and presence in the markets we are responsible for.
Qualifications

4 Year Degree Preferred or Equivalent Experience
Additional Information

Starting pay is $12-15 an hour dependent on experience.
• Researching and engaging prospective businesses as well as residential areas for initial contact and development of potential sales.
• Presenting and Closing appointments that are produced by leads or self-generation.
• Follow up service with each customer as well as creating a pipeline for referrals from each customer sold.
• Personal study of sales processes and closing techniques as well as solar technology and industry/state developments.
