STGI has a need for a FT Sr. HR Specialist to work on:site at a Federal Government agency located in Memphis, TN, directly supporting the agencys Director of HR. The Sr. HR Specialist will provide senior level technical federal HR expertise and HR staffing, recruitment and placement, special studies/desk audits, and customer liaison. The Sr. HR Specialist will develop assessment tools and job analysis from scratch, which requires that the Specialist have extensive staffing expertise and A?hands onA? experience in development of assessment tools. Full benefits package including monthly commuter or parking benefit and immediate first:day enrollment in the 401k and medical plan. Provide support in the development of HR Assessment Tools. Provide technical level expertise to the agency in staffing. Develop vacancy announcements. Issue cert requirements for all positions. Respond to ad hoc HR tasks and requests for assistance. May schedule and conduct desk audit interviews. Post vacancy announcements to internal and external sources utilizing USAStaffing. Perform eligibility and qualification determinations for applications received for both excepted service and competitive service positions. Conduct analysis of candidate applications. Notify applicants of their status and respond to technical questions regarding the recruitment process. Coordinate pre:employment activities for selected candidates, and close out case files. Perform other duties as assigned. Active technical federal experience, and 8:10 years of experience serving in a senior level HR Specialist role providing staffing support to federal agencies. Highly skilled developing HR tools, must have 5+ years of A?hands onA? experience developing assessment tools from scratch. Subject matter expertise in Federal OPM staffing and merit promotion rules and regulations, classification standards, and federal regulations related to processing the full range of personnel actions and related documents.
