Kumon Math and Reading Centers in the U.S. and Canada alone.
We are seeking energetic and organized individuals who have a passion for children to
run our company-owned model centers in the Ogden, Utah area. This is a unique
opportunity for hardworking individuals to experience the full cycle of
business operations!
Company-owned Centers support the operations of Kumon North America as:
A training center for new staff and franchisees
A test center for new instructional strategies
Offer our after school Math and Reading programs for children
The Center Director is responsible for the overall Operation and Growth of the center
including:
Lesson planning and guiding students through their course of study
Ongoing parent communication as well as orientations for new student inquiries
Recruiting, training, and directing Center staff
Marketing the program/Center to increase Student Enrollment
Tuition Collection
Requirements:
Bachelors DegreeExperience working with children preferred
Full-time Teaching and/or Corporate Training, as well as Retail experience a plus
Entrepreneurial spirit
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and oral, with adults and children
Strong computer skills
Strong Math and Reading aptitude
Commitment to making a difference in the community and belief in the importance of education
Ability to work afternoons/early evenings. (3-4 times/week)
